No Worries

Garden Party News

Hi everyone!  Hope you're having a wonderful week. These last days have flown by so quickly.....hard to believe we're almost at the weekend again.  I hope you all have had a chance to stop by Garden Supply for our annual Spring Garden Party this week.  We have fun activities happening daily, culminating in our big finale on Saturday. On Friday, from 11-3, we have The Meat House coming, the friendly, new butcher in town.  The Meat House offers everything you need to prepare a complete gourmet meal that your family and friends will rave about. They offer a wide selection of expertly butchered premium meats, poultry, veal, lamb, and pork, prepared proteins, fine cheeses, fresh produce, hearty breads, prepared side dishes, Boar's Head Deli products, delectable desserts and pastries, and other gourmet grocery items. They also carry over 200 varieties of wines from around the world, which are hand selected by The Meat House's Certified Wine Educator.  Be sure to check out their website for recipes and photos, and stop by the garden center for some tasty samples from their portable kitchen.

And here's our fun line-up for Saturday.

And don't forget, now through Saturday, receive 15% off your entire tree and shrub purchase!

Hope to see you soon!

Still Going Strong

Hi everyone!  I hope you've had a chance to stop by Garden Supply to enjoy the festivities of our annual Spring Garden Party.  But if you haven't yet, not to worry, the party is still going strong!  We're going to be celebrating all week with special activities and local experts who are available to answer all your gardening questions. Not only that, our sale is still going on, as well.  Stop by and enjoy 15% off your entire tree and shrub purchases now through Saturday, March 20th. All of us at the garden center want to thank everyone who came out over the weekend and helped make our annual spring party a huge success.  From our wonderful customers to our fellow community businesses, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We couldn't have done it without you!

Big thanks to Mamma Mia for the delicious pizza baked right here in our very own brick oven.  Also to Great Harvest Bread for the yummy baked goods and to Shady Arbour for the fabulous locally roasted coffee and The Wine Merchant for the tasty samplings.

Another big thanks to No Worries for the wonderful music.  We look forward to seeing you back here next Saturday, March 20th for our big festival wrap-up.

And thanks also to the Cary Gallery of Artists for sharing your talents with us. Cary Gallery of Artists is a nonprofit gallery in downtown Cary's Ashworth Village, featuring more than 20 local artists whose genres include painting, clay art, photography, stained and fused glass, and jewelry.  They also offer classes so you, too, can express your creativity.

And speaking of creativity, look at our fabulous children's community art project we're working on all week.

I think we have some pretty talented citizens, don't you?

We've had lots of fun activities for the kiddos down at the garden center.  Come back Saturday the 20th for more fun with art, seed planting, a ladybug bean bag toss, bee keeping activity sheets and face-painting.   Stop by and visit with The Grove School of Cary while you're here.  The Grove School is a fresh new preschool with a very earth-friendly approach to teaching. You're going to love their style.

We've been having a wonderful time, and the party's just getting started!  Come join us for the fun!  And I'll see you back here soon for more snippets from the garden.
