Attention all Cornhole gamers! We are excited to announce our first ever Cornhole Tournament at Garden Supply Co! If you've ever wanted to try out the fun that is Cornhole, or are seasoned pros at the game, we hope you will join us at our Tournament on September 22nd, as part of our fabulous Fall Fare festivities. Team sign-ups start TODAY, so stop by or give us a call to get registered!
If you're not familiar with Cornhole, it's really a pretty simple game. Cornhole, also known as bean bag toss, corn toss, baggo or bags, is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing corn hole bags at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a player reaches the score of 21.
Age Divisions
We will have three age divisions at our tournament, so that the whole family can play along:
13 & Under 14-20 21 & Up
Teams consist of two players.
Registration
Sign-ups begin on August 1st.
Adult registration is $10/team
Prizes
The first place 21 & Up team winners will receive a $200 gift certificate to the garden center. The runners up will receive a $100 gift certificate. And there will be prizes available for the younger age divisions, too.
Fall Fare
The Cornhole Tournament is just part of the fun activities we have planned for our Fall Fare on September 22nd. We'll have hot dogs and apple cider, face painting for the kids, and of course tons of fresh plants just in time for fall planting. Also be on the lookout for fall mums and pumpkins and gourds from the farm.
