Cary, NC- Garden to the Table Workshops

Now that the threat of "frost" is really behind us, are you ready to get started on your edible garden? The first in the series of "Garden to the Table" Workshops are now open for registration. The first class will be a "how-to" and "what-to" plant, for containers to large plots and every size in-between, and the novice and expert gardener alike. Stephen will be arming you with easy instructions and the confidence to be successful. There will be plenty of time for Q&A and refreshments too. (Getting your hands dirty is optional.)

Workshop Dates

Thursday, the 19th from 6-8pm

Saturday, the 21st from 8:30-10:30am.

Registration Registration is $20 and includes your choice of six veggie/herb plants and 3 seed packages. (Bring your container or Earthbox, if you want to plant while you are here.)

When you call to register please let us know if you will be planting a container garden so we can plan for "space".

Earth Day Kids Class

We love to see kids involved in gardening, and since they tend to eat something they have had a hand in growing, why not try a "Pizza" or "Taco" garden, or "Strawberry Smoothie" garden ? Bring them Sunday afternoon from 3-5pm for a "hands-dirty" class. The $20 registration per child includes the plants, soil, and pot to get them growing.

If you register for the kids session, let us know what "garden" you choose so we have plenty of the plants you'll need.
