Alana Cornelison
Alana is a born-and-raised NC native who grew up playing in the dirt. Her interest in gardening and design blossomed while working at Garden Supply Company part time in high school, which led her to pursue a B.S. degree in Horticultural Science and Landscape Design at N.C. State University.
Alana has been actively involved in planting design for the past 5 years and has a particular interest in NC natives, edible landscapes, and permaculture. Her main goal is to help others create meaningful landscapes that are not only beautiful but sustainable.
When she is not busy with work, Alana’s hobbies include cooking with her husband, playing with her two cats named Gizmo and Gadget, propagating and tending to her vast collection of house plants, and reading mystery novels.
